Soldier life through 100 years
In the military area, you can explore military history:
From the story of the brave land soldier over the First and Second World Wars and up through the Cold War years.
Unlike in a museum, here you can get up close and talk to the soldiers. The groups live in historic military camps with tents, equipment and weapons from the time.
***Local Resistance Story***
Locally in Frederiksværk, resistance fighters manufactured an armored truck for the final showdown with the occupying troops. It came to a bloody showdown just 3 km from TimeWinder's field, where the infamous Lorenzen group was arrested. The lorry still exists as a museum object and is not roadworthy, but local enthusiasts associated with TimeWinder Nostalgidage produced an exact copy in 2020, which is exhibited on the square. Come and see V3 up close and have a chat with the resistance people!

Keep an eye on the program
Guided Military tour:
At programmed times, you can experience a guided tour through the military camps, from the First World War to the Cold War. Experience the historical development of the equipment and be close when some of this is demonstrated to the audience.
The history is conveyed by military-historical groups and museums, each of which dives into a specific part of the soldier's history. The individual groups are directly based on a historical period and portray soldier life as it was at that time - for better or for worse.
The Military section is part of TimeWinder Nostalgia Days that you must not miss!
